Aims & Objectives

Aims:

  • To secure the full integration of the republican former prisoner community through recognition of the contribution they have made to the community in the past and can make in the future.
  • To facilitate republican former prisoners in deepening and developing their contribution to justice and peace in Ireland.

Objectives:

  • To improve lives of former republican prisoners and their families.
  • To provide opportunities for members to employ their motivation, and develop their skills and abilities to the fullest extent.
  • To provide training, educational and employment initiatives.
  • To deepen mutually beneficial links with community organisations, employers and other groups.

Aidhmeanna:

  • Iomlánú lán na n-iarchimí poblachtacha a baint tríd an mhéid a rinne siad don chomhphobal agus an mhéid a dhéanfaidh siad amach anseo a aithint.
  • Cuidiú le hiarchimí poblachtacha páirt s’acu do chóir agus síocháin in Éirinn a fhorbairt.

Cuspóirí:

  • Saol na n-iarchimí poblachtacha agus a gclann a fheabhsú.
  • Deiseanna a chur ar fáil sa dóigh is go mbeadh said ábalta a scíleanna a fhorbairt go hiomlán.
  • Treanáil, oideachas agus scéimeanna fostaíochta a chur a fáil.
  • Nascanna a leathnú le heagraíochtaí pobail, fostóirí agus grúpaí eile.
